Summit 14-Pound Specialist SD Climbing Tree Stand (Realtree AP)

Light weight but noisy.
This stand is much lighter than my Viper. It's a very comfortable stand for bow hunting however it is very noisy. The round tubes are hollow and they ring if clanked together. I don't understand how Summit can call this "dead metal" technology quiet when it's louder than the original Summit Viper.

May try to spray foam inside the tubes to cut down on the noise.
lightest available!
I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas. We have several tree stands (ladder and climbing) and in my opinion Summit makes some of the best. This was the lightest one available at the time. He is 6'3" and 195lbs and it fits; however he says it is a bit harder to climb with than regular climbing stand. He loves it!

Update: After getting the hang of it...he says not that bad to climb with, the weight is awesome and its his favorite!!!
Well made, LIGHTWEIGHT
Pros:

Awesome construction
Very lightweight
Simple Instructions
Def Sound Deadening

Cons
Backpack 'feature' can be improved. I am 5'10" and the teeth from the stand still catch on my trousers/calves
Backpack straps can be foam padded for added comfort
Not really a con, but lost the leg relief pouch on the first day I was out. Make sure you guys stitch it on the leg relief strap before you leave!
